Shipowner W. van der Zwan & Zonen B.V. placed a remarkable order with Grenco B.V. for the new building of environmental friendly cooling- and freezing installations aboard the fish trawler Willem van der Zwan (SCH302). The order value is several millions and one of the biggest in the history of Grenco B.V. The marine department of Grenco B.V. will be working on this order for at least 10 months.

In January 2007, during a major conversion, the SCH302 caught fire which destroyed the trawler almost completely.  The loss of its flag-ship had a big impact on its owner Van der Zwan and all other parties involved in the conversion, including Grenco B.V.

Grenco is very pleased that shipowner Van der Zwan chose the company again as a partner for the rebuild of the trawler. Grenco will do everything in its power to have the SCH302 back in service as soon as possible. The rebuild of the ship has started already and will take until the end of this year.
